Shima-kai Martial Arts is a dojo, in the budo tradition. As such, ages are restricted to adults and those mature enough to train with adults.  We are located at the St. John’s Martial Arts Centre, 21 Mews Place (behind Pippy Place) www.stjohnsmartialartscentre.com

Fridays 6:00p-7:00p Shotokan Karate
Sundays 1:00p-2:00p Ryukyu Kobujutsu

Training Fees
$60.00 per month for one class of Karate or Kobujutsu per week.
$100.00 per month for one class of Karate and Kobujutsu per week.

We follow the 3 semester schedule.  For the fall and winter semesters, fees are paid in advance.  During the summer semester, fees are prorated.  If you can only make part of the summer, you only have to pay for those months, instead of the whole semester.

Fall: Sept-Dec $240.00 for karate or kobu and $400.00 for both.
Winter: Jan-Apr $240.00 for karate or kobu and $400.00 for both.
Summer: May-Aug $240.00 karate or kobu and $400.00 for both.

Association fees
IKD Karate Membership: $20.00 per year
IKD Karate Passport: $10.00 (every 5 Years)
CRKA Kobujutsu Membership: $25.00 per year
